Susan Timoney, STD

Hello, I am the Secretary for Pastoral Ministry and Social Concerns. I am a theologian by training, having earned a doctorate (S.T.D.) at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas in Rome. My specialization is Catholic spirituality. I have a passion for evangelization and parish life. I’ve worked as part of parish staffs, I’ve volunteered on parish pastoral councils and I’ve served on many parish committees. I do practice what I preach when it comes to parish life!  The contribution I want to make to this blog is to write on issues related to the lay mission and vocation and to parish life. All of the Archdiocesan bloggers want to help our readers make a stronger connection between church and culture. I hope to do that through the lens of parish life, work life and family life. I am married and live in the archdiocese.
